The Right to Healthcare

"Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is

the most shocking and inhumane"

-Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

10% of children in the United States in 2008 were

without health insurance

(Kaiser Family Foundation: http://facts.kff.org/chart. aspx?ch=1230)

Majority of the 46 million uninsured Americans are working families

(Kaiser Family Foundation report, September 2009)

The Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign believes that no one should die as a result of lacking health insurance.

The March to Fulfill the Dream will demand that all people -whatever the color of their skin or the amount of money in their bank accounts - have the right to health care.

Health care is a human right.
