Hope the benefit goes well.
I recently suggested an entry on www.change.org 's "Ideas for Change in America", that related to poverty.
Specifically, my suggestion is to set a maximum annual rate that can be charged on credit cards. No, it won't solve poverty, what it will do is stop banks using excessive interest on interest rates to increase the amounts that people must repay them.
