SOHO SILENT ART AUCTION TO BENEFIT THE POOR PEOPLE'S ECONOMIC HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN
New York, NY, August 11, 2004 - The Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign (PPEHRC - www.economichumanrights.org) in conjunction with the DACTYL Foundation for the Arts and Humanities announced a silent art auction to take place August 12 from 6-9pm at the SoHo based DACTYL gallery. Proceeds from the sale of the art will benefit the work of the PPEHRC and the March For Our Lives opening day of the Republican National Convention. The show features prominent artists from various mediums, all of whom have donated their work. Artists include:
Judy Glantzman, Patrick Maisano, Melinda Stickney-Gibson, Steven Powers, Harvey Finkle, Tim Lynch, Squire Fox, Ray Abary, John Francis Peters, Ian Bagusgus, Sara Macel, Amy Hodges, Tim Wright, Liz Ronk, Peter Goldman, Yuko Kitajima, Gael Abary, John Breiner, Anthony Smyrski, Melissa Farley, Serge J-F. Levy, Hugh Gran, Leslie Kroeger, Jonathan Hounshell, Marilee Sweeney, Natalie Avakian, Kristen Merola, Leigh Klonsky, Susie Bergquist and Michael Konrad .
